Australia’s Labour Force continues to perform strongly.
Figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics today show there are currently 956,700 people employed in South Australia.
There are now 50,000 more people employed in South Australia than at the time of the March 2022 state election – enough to fill Adelaide Oval.
Almost 40,000 of these jobs created were full-time.
South Australia’s unemployment rate has remained at near record lows of 3.7 per cent, in seasonally adjusted terms. South Australia’s unemployment rate is now lower than Queensland, Tasmania, the Northern Territory, and equal with the ACT.
At the time of the March 2022 state election, South Australia had the highest unemployment rate in the nation by some margin.
