Attributable to Peter Malinauskas
It has been a big year and I’m proud of the progress we have been able to make delivering on the things that matter to South Australians.
In particular, it has been a record-breaking year for our state’s economy, with nation-leading growth and record low unemployment.
We have delivered big reforms to our state’s education system, which will deliver benefits for generations to come.
And we’re doing everything we can to ensure more South Australians have a place to call home.
We have continued to make significant investments in our health system, with improvement in ambulance response times and six months in a row of year-on-year improvement in ramping numbers – but there is still more work to do in 2024.
While 2023 has been big, I expect 2024 will be even bigger as my government continues to get things done for South Australians.
