This weekend’s severe weather throughout much of the state poses a real risk to rough sleepers and this why we’ve enacted a Severe Weather Activation.
It’s important we can offer somewhere for people to stay warm and safe and protect their belongings from the weather.
Chronic health issues can be further exacerbated by exposure to bad weather and this can lead to poorer longer term health outcomes.
If you are or know someone who is a rough sleeper, please call Homeless Connect SA to access these increased services.
